New energy vehicle IGBT module quickly dissipates heat

New energy vehicles represent the direction of vehicle electrification, and their degree of electronicization is higher than that of traditional vehicles. Electronic devices in new energy vehicles reach 45%-65%. The motor controller (MCU) is a unique core power electronic unit for new energy vehicles. It controls the motor to output a specified torque and speed by receiving the vehicle driving control command from the vehicle controller (VCU) to drive the vehicle. Multiple IGBT chips are assembled on the PCB substrate in an insulated manner to form an IGBT module to meet the high-power requirements of new energy vehicles. Due to the long-term high-power/high-voltage/high-current state, the IGBT module is the device with the highest temperature during system operation, which poses new challenges to the heat dissipation of the IGBT module in the controller.
